Child Protection Conflicts Division

The Child Protection Conflicts Division is assigned to represent the second named parent, often the non-custodial parent, in a case brought alleging abuse or neglect of the child.  The CPCD is responsible to make sure that this parent receives all necessary defense against abuse and neglect claims, as well as to insure the parent-child relationship is not severed.  These lawyers help to guarantee visitation, services, and custody for  parents who demonstrate a committment to their children.
